The guidance wire is a two core conductor made out of hard drawn copper with polythene insulation used for under water communication. The wire is housed in a metal container. The wire together with the metal container is called spool. Two types of spools are to be manufactured namely spool A and Spool B. The criss cross winding is to be employed while making the spools, these are made of hard drawn copper.
