Product Description

The SELCAL Decoder permits the selective calling of individual
aircraft using common HF & VHF radio communication paths. The
Decoder is designed so that it will respond only to the code for which it
is configured & rejects all other codes. Upon receipt of valid coded
signal, it alerts the pilot/crew by means of a suitable aural and visual
signalling device such as a chime or lamp. The pilot, having been
alerted, may clear the alert and answer the call by communicating with
the ground station.
