Product Description

PT1 NGV is used in Aero-engine for military helicopters. This is a large size Nickel based super alloy casting comprising of 30 Aerofoils radially arranged integrally. This part is operated at ambient temperature of 810° Celsius at hot end of engine to guide hot combustion gases precisely towards rotating 1st stage turbine blades.   F&F Division, HAL (BC), has successfully developed methods and processes, including complex set of tooling, for manufacturing of these complex casting with stringent qualification and airworthiness requirements.
