HELINA is an abbreviation for Helicopter launched NAG and is an Air to Surface Missile system. HELINA is launched from Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH). The ALH is equipped with 2 Twin launchers, one on either side, carrying a total of 8 missiles.
HELINA is equipped with High Resolution Imaging Infrared Seeker (IIR) capable of automatic target detection and tracking in adverse weather conditions.
