Product Description

FUZE 24A refers to a specific type of military-grade, airbursting ordnance component. FUZE 24A is a component manufactured in India for use with a 68mm aircraft rocket.

Features/Roles/Variants of the product
It is a vane-armed, cocked-striker fuze designed for airburst effects, often with high-explosive (HE) shells. An arming vane spins in the airflow as the ordnance is dropped, causing a mechanical process to arm the fuze.
The fuze can be configured for either proximity-mode or point-detonation super quick (PDSQ) mode, which is triggered on impact with a target.
The FUZE 24A is used with various aircraft bombs, including Russian RBK and pyrotechnic SAB series bombs.
A safety wire is typically removed prior to takeoff. The fuze should be considered armed if its arming vanes are missing.
