Product Description

Free Turbine blades are used in Aero-engine for military helicopters. These blades are manufactured using nickel super alloys, through investment casting process. Blades extract energy from combustion gases and transfer to turbine disc in the form of mechanical energy. The mechanical energy is transferred to main rotor of the helicopter enabling its lift and flight.  F&F Division, HAL (BC), has successfully developed methods and processes, including complex set of tooling, for manufacturing of these complex casting with stringent qualification and airworthiness requirements.
