The C43A is a heavy-duty, steel military ammunition box designed for the secure transport and storage of 105mm IFG Shell. Produced by manufacturers like India's Machinery Sales Corporation, it is known for its durability and watertight construction.

It is made from cold-rolled steel sheets that are seam-welded to create a robust and rigid container. This heavy-gauge steel provides maximum strength and protection.

The box is typically given a rust-inhibiting finish, such as zinc phosphate, followed by an epoxy powder paint.
