1. DEFENCE EXHIBITION ORGANISATION (DEO)
The Defence Exhibition Organisation (DEO) has been established in 1981 with the main charter to organize and coordinate Aerospace and Defence exhibitions in India and aboard. DEO through the Aerospace & Defence exhibitions in India and abroad promotes export potential of indigenous Aerospace and Defence sector. DEO office is located at Willow, 1st Floor, India Habitat Center, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003.
- 13th edition of Aero India-2021 : India prides itself with conducting the world’s first hybrid Aerospace exhibition, 13th edition of Aero India 2021 from 3rd to 5th Feb 2021 at Air Force Station, Yelahanka, Bengaluru. The edition focused on the vision of Make in India in Aerospace, Defence, Civil Aviation, Airport Infrastructure and Defence Engineering. A total of 60+ nations, 800+ exhibitors had participated in the show which saw forging of 201 partnerships, 3500+ B2B meetings and provided a significant opportunity to the indigenous A&D sector to take business forward. The India Pavilion named ‘India Helisphere’ showcased indigenously designed and developed rotary wing platforms, technologies and future generation combat capable airborne solutions.
- DEFEXPO Conceived as a complementary exposition to Aero India, Defexpo was launched in 1999. The exhibition has showcased India’s emergence as an attractive destination for investment in the defence sector and acted as a platform for alliances and joint ventures in the defence industry. Defexpo 2022, the 12th edition of biennial Land, Naval and Internal Homeland Security Systems Exhibition, will be held from 10th to 13th March 2022 at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India.
- International Exhibition Abroad: With a view to provide visibility and an impetus to export potential of the Indian Aerospace & Defence Industry, DEO coordinates the setting-up of “India Pavilion” at major international Aerospace & Defence exhibitions abroad. India Pavilion is an opportunity to develop market for defence products being manufactured by Indian industry. DEO aims to maximize the public and private sector participation at the Global Aerospace and Defence exhibitions with the aim to showcase the indigenous capabilities and expanse of the Indian opportunity.
