Product Description

SMFD is based on Hybrid backplane with 2 VPX slots communication on X4 PCI-e lanes. It consist of the
following:
i) Main Processor Module (MPM): is based on Q or IQ “T2” series processor and is compatible to VITA
46 backplane.
ii) Graphics Processing Module (GPM): This module consist of one Graphics SBC and one video XMC card.
iii) Ruggedized 5”X5” AMLCD display Head (RAH): This module is responsible to display the video
generated from graphics processing module.

LCDs are lightweight and very thin. The thickness of the display itself is only a few millimeters.
The power consumption is low.
Reliability is high with MTBF 4 times as of CRT.
