Product Description

Artouste IIIB Engine powers both Cheetah and Chetak helicopters. The Engine
manufacture commenced in 1962 under licence from Turbomeca, France. Division
also has facility for Repair & Overhaul of these engines.
 

Features/Roles/Variants of the product
Side air intake, an axial and a centrifugal compressor connected to three stage turbine.
The power output is 543 SHP at 33500 RPM. The reduction gear box in the front transfers the power to helicopter.
More than 700 engines have been manufactured and 3500 engines overhauled & repaired for various customers.
