Product Description

PTA-G2 parachute will enhance the capability of paratroopers in terms of deployment velocity and deployment altitude. In existing parachute system, the paratrooper can be deployed up to speed of 400kmph keeping maximum shock value within permissible limit. PTAG2 comprises of both Main and Reserve Parachute and system is equipped with AAD (PPKU). PTA-G2 parachute is suitable for fixed wing aircraft i.e. C17, C130J, IL-76, An-32 etc and as well as rotary wing aircraft. Deployment of parachute system is initiated once the paratrooper jumps out of aircraft. The Parachute can be deployed through static line operation, Rip Cord Ha ndle, or preset operation of the Automatic Activation Device (AAD)

 

 

Reserve Parachute :-

The canopy has a circular shape and consists of four sectors and each sector consists of five trapezii straight cut panels. In the center of the canopy a vent, 0.7 m in diameter, is provided. From the outside the vent is covered with eight pockets made of nylon fabric. The purpose of the pocket is to provide partial inflation of the canopy before the skirt hem comes into action to energetically pull out the canopy together with the shroud lines from the pack and keep up the central portion of the canopy properly inflated.
