Product Description

Hull assembly for Multipurpose Vehicles (MPVs) in India involves an automated, multi-stage process that creates the vehicle's "Body-in-White" (BiW)—the welded, unpainted sheet metal body. This process is largely standardized across the automotive industry but is tailored for MPVs to prioritize cabin space, safety, and structural integrity.

Features/Roles/Variants of the product
The body and frame are a single unit, providing better on-road handling and superior crash safety through integrated crumple zones.
MPVs feature a tall, boxy body design and a unibody platform to maximize interior room for passengers and luggage.
The hull assembly allows for flexible seating configurations, with many models offering a third row and foldable seats to create extra storage space when needed.
The unibody construction provides a lower floor, which improves stability and handling, offers a more comfortable ride, and makes it easier for passengers to enter and exit the vehicle.
MPV hulls are generally designed with a smooth, tapering front end to reduce drag, which contributes to better fuel efficiency.
While less than a true SUV, the hull is designed to provide enough ground clearance to handle the variable and often unpaved Indian road conditions without compromising on-road comfort.
