Product Description

An 81mm high-explosive (HE) mortar round is a type of ammunition fired from an 81mm mortar, a portable, indirect-fire weapon used by infantry units. The "hardware steel" refers to the forged steel body of the shell, which is designed to fragment on impact to maximize lethality against enemy personnel and unarmored targets

Features/Roles/Variants of the product
A forged steel or cast iron shell containing a high-explosive filler, such as TNT. The body is engineered to fragment effectively upon detonation.
A point-detonating fuze is threaded into the nose of the shell, triggering the detonation upon impact. Fuzes can be mechanical or electronic, with options for instantaneous or delayed action.
A stabilizing tail unit, typically made of aluminum alloy, with fins to ensure a stable flight path.
A base ignition cartridge and removable, supplementary propellant increments are attached to the tail unit. The number of increments used determines the firing range
