Product Description
Software Defined Radio (SDR-1) is designed and developed by SLRDC. SDR-1 operates in two RF channels one in VUHF band and one in L-band. A dedicated Guard Receiver is available in VUHF band. It also has TRANSEC and COMSEC features in both the RF channels and built-in GNSS receiver. SDR-1 is capable of hosting different waveforms ranging from Legacy AM &FM to Frequency Hopping (FH) Voice and Mobile Adhoc Networking (MANET) with FH Dynamic Time Division Multiple Access (DTDMA). SDR-1 has necessary interfaces like MIL-STD-1553B/ARINC 429, Ethernet, RS-232, and RS-422 for Data and Control. Integrated GUIs for various mode selections and waveform loading are available for ease of operation of SDR-1. SDR-1 is intended to provide secure and jam resistant voice and data communication for Air to Ground, Ground to Air and Air to Air in VUHF and L bands. System architecture supports red & black separation. It is suitable for any high speed, high dynamic airborne platforms and Ground applications. The features currently available are not limited and are expandable in terms of Waveforms as well as RF Operating Bands.
