Hindustan Jet Trainer 36 (HJT-36) is an Intermediate Jet Trainer designed & developed by HAL.
HJT-36 is capable of Stage II Pilot Training, Counter Insurgency & Counter surface force Operations, Armament Training, Aerobatics etc.
Powered by a FADEC controlled AL551 Jet Engine, providing best in class thrust to weight ratio, optimised thrust management & reliability.
Stepped up Rear cockpit with Drooped Nose providing excellent all-around vision.
Enhanced situational awareness with State-of-the-Art Glass Cockpit with MFDs & HUD.
Capabilities: Stall & Spin, Aerobatics, Armament carriage up to 1000kg.
Single Point Refuelling & Defueling.
12 IJT LSP aircraft produced.
