The equipment is semi-automatic equipment in which mine dispensing and mine arming is done manually, however the most critical activity of burying the mine at required depth accurately is done automatically.

The equipment is designed to operate in plains, semi-desert & desert terrain, in all weather conditions.
Six types of A/T mines ( Adrushy Mk-I, Adrushy Mk-II, ND Mk-I, ND Mk-II, NFM Vibhav & Prachand) can be laid with the equipment

Engine of 300 kW power , EURO III.
SPMB is being mounted with Side mounted, Front pulling Winch for self recovery.
Mines can be laid at any distance from 3 to 30 m in the steps of 3 m
Minimum mine laying rate is of 200 mines/hour at a distance of 3 m & 180 mines/hour 6 m respectively. Maximum of 350 mines can be stored in four containers
Equipment can be operated by a team of five members (Four Crew & driver)
